The efforts of university scientists are aimed at conducting fundamental and applied research in the fields of plant breeding, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, food technology, forestry, radiology, ecology, land management, informatization, economics, pedagogy, jurisprudence, etc.
The material and technical base of educational and research institutes and faculties, scientific laboratories, the Ukrainian Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products (ULYABP of the Agricultural Industry), separate units: “Research and Project Institute of Standardization and Technologies of eco-safe and organic products” (Odesa), “Agronomic research station”, “Velikosnityn educational and research farm named after O.V. Muzychenka”, “Educational and research farm “Vorzel”, “Boyar forest research station”, farms of other educational units subordinate to the university.
